YEREVAN(Noyan Tapan)–Exports grew by 11.6 percent during the first nine months of 2001 amounting to $240.2 million. According to the National Statistical Service in Armenia–exports in September increased by 9 percent from August. In January-September 2001–imports decreased by 2.3 percent ($ 617.7 million ). In September–as compared to the preceding months–imports grew by 8.3 percent. Foreign trade circulation increased by 1.2 percent totaling $857 million dollars (indirect taxes exclusive).
