YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The preliminary investigation into the murder of Poghos Poghosyan in Yerevan’s "Aragast" cafe already includes the testimony from fifty witnesses–including a presidential security guard. No charges have yet been brought against anyone–according to the Prosecutor General Aram Tamazian. Tamazian said that valuable evidence was obtained during the interrogation of the fifty witnesses–and that an additional expert examination will be appointed in to case.
No charges have been brought against anyone in the murder case of the prime minister’s advisor–and the chief of the prime minister’s surveillance service Gagik Petrosyan either. According to Tamazian–there are 22 different theories in the case and an "impartial and comprehensive," investigation is being carried out.
