Vyacheslav Trubnikov Analyses Karabakh Issue

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Trubnikov said the Karabakh conflict issue is a "very difficult" confrontation because both sides approached the issue considering only "their own interests."

Azeri 525th newspaper writes that Trubnikov said this on Monday in Moscow. The Russian diplomat stressed that despite this difficult situation–Russia continues its role as mediator within the framework of OSCE Minsk group and efforts to "find ways to strengthen trust between the two presidents."The settlement of the conflict ultimately depends on the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.
