Armenia Continues to Supply Energy to Georgia

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–The joint Armenian-Russian Hayrusgazard company continues to supply approximately 120 megawatt of electricity to neighboring Georgia everyday. Armenia began to supply energy to Georgia following after an explosion at Georgia’s biggest thermal power plant on December 29.

According to a license–granted to the Hayrusgazard by Armenian Energy Commission–energy supplies will run until January 20. An official of the Hayrusgazard said Armenia would continue to supply energy to Georgia after January 20 if Georgia requested.
