Turkey Iran Set to Expand Cooperation

TEHRAN (Armenpress)–Iranian IRNA news agency reported that the Turkish Minister of Housing and Urban Development Faruk Bal met on Wednesday in Tehran with First Deputy Speaker of Majlis (Parliament) Mohammad Reza Khatami.

The Majlis Public Relations Department reported that Khatami expressed satisfaction with the Tehran-Ankara ties in recent years adding–"Majlis is ready to expand ties with the Turkish Parliament."

Khatami also touched on Iran-Turkey security cooperation and said that joint cooperation in Central Asia region as well as Afghan reconstruction drive include other areas of mutual cooperation.
