OSCE Monitors Aghdam Area of Karabakh Azeri Zone

STEPANAKERT (Noyan Tapan)–The OSCE mission conducted a scheduled monitoring in the Aghdam direction of the Karabakh-Azeri contact line on April 27.

On the Karabakh side the monitoring was led by OSCE Tbilisi Office coordinator Imre Palatinus (Hungary). The group included the OSCE Chairman-in-Office’s Personal Representative’s field aide Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and OSCE High-Level Planning Group representative Andrey Bubnov (Russia).

On the opposite side the mission was led by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office’s Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzik.

The monitoring was conducted according to a pre-arranged schedule. No violations of the cease-fire regime were reported. The members of the observation mission were accompanied by Karabakh military and diplomatic officials.
