YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Citing estimations of independent experts–World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Mike Moore said on May 22 that an average annual GDP growth for Armenia–Georgia and Kyrgyzstan in the next several years will be about 5 percent.
Moore made the announcement in Georgian capital Tbilisi when addressing a meeting of finance and economy ministers of Eurasia countries. According to him–the highest GDP growth rates–up to 8 percent–would be reported in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Moore went on to argue that accession of several regional countries to the WTO would ensure more impressive GDP growth rates.
