Azeri Armenian Presidents Unlikely to Meet This Month

BAKU (Armenpress)–Azeri President Heydar Aliyev said last week before departing for Saint Petersburg–Russia that he was planning to have another meeting with Armenian President Robert Kocharian over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict–but made it clear that it would not take place in the near future. "I do not think that such a meeting can take place this month," he said.

In response to a reporter’s question if Azerbaijan was going to launch "an anti-terrorist campaign in the occupied lands" which are under Armenian troops’ control–Aliyev said that would mean resumption of war.
