OSCE Hosts Conference on Preventing and Combating Terrorism

VIENNA (Armenpress)–Senior officials from the United Nations–NATO–the European Union and the Council of Europe–among other bodies–will meet on Wednesday at the invitation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Chairmanship–to discuss coordinating international efforts in the fight against terrorism.

The one-day meeting–which will be held at the Hotel Tivoli in Lisbon on June 12–will be opened by the prime minister of Portugal–the country that holds this year’s OSCE Chairmanship.

Among organizations that are expected to participate in the meeting are the International Committee of the Red Cross–the European Commission–the UN Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention and the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering.
