NATO and Partner States Conducting Military Exercises in Tbilisi

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Military exercises with the participation of six NATO-member states (Canada–Greece–Hungary–Turkey–the UK and the US) and nine partner states (Armenia–Austria–Azerbaijan–Bulgaria–Georgia–Lithuania–Moldova–Romania and Ukraine) are being conducted in Tbilisi–Georgia June 17-28.

The exercises entitled "The Best Joint Effort – 2002" are the main military exercises in field conditions in the south region under the Partnership for Peace Program. Such exercises are conducted every year on the level of a multinational military unit for the purpose of enhancing the efficiency of cooperation among partner countries.
