Kremlin Supports Armenian Conference in Moscow

MOSCOW (Armenpress)–A senior Russian official endorsed on Monday plans for the Union of Russian Armenia’s (URA) to hold a conference next month in Moscow. The conference would be dedicated to Armenia and Armenia-related issues.

Vladimir Putin’s chief of staff Alexander Voloshin–met with Russian-Armenian tycoon Ara Abrahamian to examine the details of the conference ‘Armenia’s of the World at the Crossroad of Centuries and Urgent International Issues.’ Abrahamian heads the URA.

Scheduled for October 6-7–the conference is expected to gather Armenian community leaders–political analysts–experts and economists from around the world.

Alexander Voloshin reportedly praised the role of the Russian Armenian community in expanding multilateral relations between Moscow and Yerevan.
