New Suspect Wanted in Naghdalian Murder

YEREVAN (Armenpress) – The General Prosecutors office of Armenia announced Thursday that it is pursuing a resident of the Ararat region’s Azatakan village Grigor Virabi Petrosian–nicknamed "Mzdoyi Grigor" in connection with the murder of former Public TV chairman and Radio Board Tigran Naghdalian.

Petrosian–43–is suspected of participating in first-degree murder–and was last seen on March 5 in a white "VAZ 2121" car with "25TS717" license plates.

Local police authorities have called on citizens who are aware of Petrosian’s whereabouts to contact their local police department or call 56-12-32–57-85-22–guaranteeing strictest of confidentiality.

Six individuals are already under arrest on charges of immediate involvement in the murder.

The prosecutors office announced a few days ago that it was pursuing Yerevan resident Hovhannes "Aper" Harutunian also in connection with Naghdalian’s murder.
