YEREVAN (Armenpress)–US ambassador to Armenia John Ordway–Armenian Science and Education Minister Sergo Yeritsian and other dignitaries addressed the second All-Network Conference on Wednesday–"Advancing Society?Connecting People," organized by Project Harmony. The conference is a part of the Armenia School Connectivity Programs (ASCPs) of the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs–which is administered by Project Harmony and funded through the Freedom Support Act. The conference encourages the connectivity of a multicultural world through technology.
Focusing on the effect of information technology on education in Armenia–the conference will review future global community networking in Armenia–as well as technological innovations in pedagogy–networking–and community building.
Participants will have the opportunity to celebrate ASCPs successes–to share lessons learned–and to network with educators across Armenia.
Whereas the first day of the conference was open to a wide range of professionals in education–the second day will be limited to representatives from schools participating in the ASCPs network.
