Argentina Reiterates Recognition of Armenian Genocide

The Argentine Senate passed a resolution Wednesday acknowledging the Armenian genocide and expressing their support for the Armenian people–reported the Armenian National Committee of South America.

The Argentine Parliament and Senate passed resolutions in 1985 formally recognizing the Genocide and urging the United Nations to work toward the international recognition of the Armenian genocide.
