Armenia and Microsoft Sign Cooperation Agreement

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenia’s Trade and Economic Development minister Garen Chshmaritain and Microsoft president Bill Gates Tuesday signed an agreement in Edinburgh, Scotland, to boost cooperation between the government of Armenia and Microsoft. The agreement envisions a set of investment, innovation and educational programs for Armenia, deputy minister Tigran Davtian said Wednesday. He added that the agreement also provided for the establishment of Microsoft innovation center in Armenia. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a conference in Edinburgh.
