Attorneys to Speak at Tcharentz Forum

LOS ANGELES–Attorneys Steven Dadaian and Saro Kerkonian will be the featured speakers at a special presentation of the Tcharentz Forum, a monthly discussion group, on Thursday night, June 7 at the Armenian Cilicia Evangelical Church, located at 339 S. Santa Anita, Pasadena, California. This event is being jointly sponsored and organized with the Armenian Bar Association, of which both attorneys are members. The presentation will focus on the ongoing litigation in the State of Massachusetts arising out of a challenge by Turkish-backed plaintiffs to the genocide curriculum which has been established in that state. Attorney Saro Kerkonian has been actively following the lawsuit and its various twists and turns. Steve Dadaian, former Chairman of the Armenian National Committee, Western Region, will speak about the status of the United States Congress Genocide Resolution and its prospects for passage, as well as other legislative initiatives relating to Armenian issues.
