Leaders of Armenian National Minorities Visit Bako Sahakian

STEPANAKERT (Armenpress)–Leaders of Yezidi, Russian, Kurdish, Assyrian, Jewish, Greek and some other national minorities of Armenia, traveled last Saturday to Nagorno-Karabakh for a meeting with its new president Bako Sahakian.
The leaders of the national minorities and the Sahakian spoke about strengthening ties between representatives of national minorities in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
Bako Sahakian was quoted by his press office as saying that Armenia’s have always been tolerant to other nations living in their country.
"The Armenia’s and other nations living in Armenia have always shared their joy and joined efforts to overcome difficulties," he said.
They also agreed to hold in Nagorno-Karabakh a festival of national minorities living in Armenia.
