“Artsakh IS Armenia” Holds Photo Exhibit

Under the banner of “Artsakh IS Armenia,” the 20th anniversary of the Karabakh Liberation Movement Committee organized a photo and art exhibition at the Western Prelacy headquarters in La Crescenta on April 18 and 19, hosted by Western Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian.
The Committee–a collaboration between Armenian Revolutionary Federation Glendale, Burbank and La Crescenta chapters and under the auspices of the ARF Western US Central Committee–brought together more than 30 community-based artists to showcase their work in celebration of the heroic liberation movement of Artsakh.
The “Artsakh IS Armenia” committee would like to thank the participating artists, whose biography and sample work are featured in these pages. Their participation and contribution to this effort broadened the scope of the celebration and inspired others to take part in this national movement. Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Issak and Janet Kazandjian, through whose generosity this special insert–named after their sons and their families–was made possible.
The committee would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to Western Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian for his unwavering support of this project and for graciously hosting and sponsoring this exhibit. His leadership and commitment enhanced this effort and made the exhibition a centerpiece of the celebration.
As we move forward, let us not forget the heroes who led the Artsakh liberation movement to victory and pledge to continue our struggle for freedom and justice.
