Education Minister Meets with Belgian Research Students

YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenian Education and Science Minister Spartak Seyranian met Wednesday with a group of Belgian economic students, who will be presenting research findings on Armenia’s economy, the ministry’s press offices reported.

The students are in Armenia for a two-week research visit.

Seyranian spoke to the students about reforms in Armenia’s higher education system and answered questions regarding entrance exams, qualification of professors and Armenia’s education system.

“Armenia’s invaluable resource is its population,” Seyranian told the students in response to questions regarding the natural resources Armenia’s economy is based on. “It is not accidental that today our state directs its steps towards increasing the quality of human capital. With that purpose the reforms are being carrying out in the educational system.”
