ANKARA–Armenian and Jewish students in Turkey are now allowed to take vacations during their respective religious holiday’s, Hurriyet daily reported.
The president of Turkey’s Higher Education Board, Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, has sent a mandate instructing Turkish universities of the decision, which also applies to Jewish and Armenian academic university staff.
The board also sent the mandate to the chief rabbi’s office and the Armenian Patriarchal Presidency/
