Armenian Cemetery in Turkey Returned

YEREVAN–An Armenian cemetery in the Maratoug mountain of Sassoun has been officially registered as an Armenian asset, according to Agos newspaper’s Armenian editor Bagrat Estukyan, who made the announcement at a press conference in Yerevan Wedensday.

He explained that Sassoun resident Aziz Dacen, who has started the effort to identify and protect Armenian assets, successfully changed the status of the cemetery in official Turkish documen’s.
