Mayrig And Me’ Program At Ari Guiragos School Continues to Excel

ORANGE COUNTY–As part of its continued efforts in providing Armenian Students of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas an excellent academic program, The Ari G. Minassian School is proud to announce the continued growth and excellence of its Infant/Toddler program “Mayrig and Me” for ages 18 months to 3 years old.

Through research and networking with other Armenian Schools across the country, the Principal, Staff and Educational Committee believe this program to be an integral step for each child, in his or her developmental steps and Armenian Language exposure.

The program has also proven to be very successful in cities such as Boston and New Jersey.

The program provides each child with the necessary experience to help nourish his or her developing mind. The program engages children in developing listening and Armenian language skills, and fosters their creativity and physical coordination through an engaging musical experience. Parents enjoy the companionship, support, and joy of interacting with their child in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Mayrig and Me instructor presents Armenian songs, instrumental music, sounds and movement, and other media’s for the children to enjoy during the 45 minute program. The instructor interacts with each child involving them and engaging them with the music, instrument, and dance, while the children also interact with their mothers/fathers.

The next AGM Mayrig and Me Program will begin January 20, 2009, and classes will be held on six consecutive Tuesdays from 9:00-9:45 AM at AGM Preschool. The program promises to enrich both child and parent through a pleasurable Armenian language curriculum of music and appreciation.

If you are interested in this “Mayrig and Me” Program, or any other information regarding the excellent education at the Ari G. Minassian School please contact the Ari G. Minassian School Office at 714-839-7831 for more information and details.
