CRESCENTA VALLEY—US Ambassador to Armenia Marie L. Yovanovitch will be visiting the Western Prelacy on Friday, June 26 to meet with Western Prelate Archbishop Moushegh mardirossian, Clergy, the Executive Council, and community representatives.
At 7:30 p.m., that same evening, the community is invited to a public forum with the Ambassador, which will be held at “Avedissian” Hall of Ferrahian School (5300 White Oak Ave., Encino). During the forum, Ambassador Yovanovitch will address the community, followed by a question and answer session.
Yovanovitch will be in the US from June 18 to July 1 visiting Armenian-American communities in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., where she will also exchange views on current developments in Armenia, U.S-Armenian relations, and U.S. foreign policy in Armenia. Yovanovitch will also highlight U.S. government assistance efforts in the country.
She will also meet with U.S. government officials, Armenian diplomats, business leaders, media representatives, civil society representatives, and members of the Armenian religious community to discuss present and future cooperation between the United States and Armenia, the embassy said.
