OSCE Monitors Ceasefire on Karabakh-Azerbaijani Border

ffebdbe338cdc8STEPANAKERT (Combined Sources)–Officials from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) conducted ceasefire monitoring on Thursday along the line of contact between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said, the Karabakh Defense Ministry said.

The two countries have exchanged numerous allegations of ceasefire violations on the Nagorno Karabakh border. The latest monitoring on November 25 in the Karabakh Repbublic registered no violations of the ceasefire regime.

Peter Key from Great Britain, Irzhi Aberle from the Czech Republic, and Vladimir Chuntulov from Bulgaria conducted the monitoring on the Karabakh side of the border.  Representatives from Karabakh’s Foreign Ministry and Defense Ministry accompanied the monitoring mission.

According to the Karabakh Foreign Ministry Press Service, the monitoring proceeded according to the schedule. No violations of the cease-fire regime were fixed during the monitoring.
