YEREVAN (—The Israeli Kneset is set to discuss in April a draft resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide, IzRus paper reported.

Parliament last may unanimously voted to discuss a similar resolution calling on the Israeli government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. But the draft resolution was pulled off the docket shortly after over national security concerns.

The motion to retable the discussion was introduced by Meretz Chairman, MP Haim Oron, who introduces this resolution every year to coincide with April 24.
