Sarkisian, Erdogan Meet

WASHINGTON—President Serzh Sarkisian and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Monday morning on the sidelines of the nuclear security summit hosted by President Barack Obama.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of Armenia Vigen Sarkisian were joined by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu at the meeting, diplomats said. No further details were made available and no statements were made at the conclusion of the meeting.

Sarkisian arrived at the Woodrow Wilson Memorial Monument to attend a brief and solemn ceremony. He is expected to lay a wreath at the Wilson Memorial and meet with Armenian Genocide survivors gathered at the event.
