NAZARETH, Israel (PIC)– Most of the Turkish parliamentarians in the Turkish-Israeli friendship society have withdrawn their association with the group in protest of the Jewish state’s treatment of Palestinians, Israeli parliamentary sources revealed on Wednesday.
Robert Tibayev, a member of the Israeli Knesset (parliament) who heads the Israeli side in that society, said that the majority of the Turkish members withdrew from the society following the tension in relations between the two governments in the wake of the Israeli assault on Gaza.
Tibayev told the Hebrew radio on Tuesday night that only four Turkish opposition lawmakers were now present in the society.
GOOD ACTION, HOPEFULLY ISRAILLIS RECONCIDERATING
FOR TO RECOGNIZING ARMENIAN GENOCIDE,
Just another clever Turkish ploy in order to look good in the eyes of the Arab and muslim world, also to make Israel think twice before recognising the Armenian genocide.
In a very short time when thinks cool down back to normal business between Turkey and Isarael.
