Prelate Visits Arshile Gorky Exhibit at MOCA

LA CRESCENTA—Western Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian visited the Museum of Contemporary Art on August 19 to view the Arshile Gorky exhibit. He was accompanied by “MOCA Friends of Arshile Gorky” committee member Hrair Garboushian and collaborator Mr. Vahan Garbuoshian.

Upon his arrival at MOCA the Prelate was greeted by Chief Curator Paul Schimmel, whom he thanked once again for his initiative in organizing the exhibit which features nearly 200 of the artist’s works.

After vewing the exhibit, the Prelate had a meeting with Adam Gross, Associate Director of Development at MOCA. Mr. Gross noted that MOCA is extending an offer of two admissions for the price of one to the exhibit through September 20. The 2 for 1 admission coupon can be downloaded from the news section of our website, or by clicking the following link Click Here to Download 2 for 1 Admission Coupon. We encourage our parishioners to take advantage of this promotion and visit MOCA to view the works of Arshile Gorky.
