YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The activities of the "All-Armenian Youth International Center" Foundation are enabling the youth organizations of Armenia and its Diaspora to establish close cooperation in creating conditions for the integration of Armenian youth into international youth movemen’s–organizing a pan-Armenian youth movement–and directing the youth potential to work toward the goals of the Armenia’s and Armenian statehood.
The September 4 meeting of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees approved the program of the Foundation. They also discussed its structure and program of activities–directions of financing for 2001-2002–the course of work on designing–and the construction of the 3rd wing of the head sport complex in Tsaghkadzor. Prime Minister of Armenia Andranik Margarian–who is the President of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees–introduced the Foundation’s Executive Director Vahagn Mkrtchian–and stated that–the work to develop the program and to organize of the Foundation’s activities had been done over the past two months.
According to the Information & Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs–the Foundation’s Board of Trustees decided to seek assistance from the Ministry of Culture–Youth Affairs and Sport asking it consider its expenses connected with the activities and preservation of the Foundation in 2002 when drafting the 2002 state budget –especially within the budget allocations concerning youth.
