LOS ANGELES–The Arpa Foundation for Film, Music & Art will present the fall collection of Pogah by Ari Sheuhmelian during a fashion show on Saturday, June 16t at 11 am. Aleppo-born designer Ari Sheuhmelian mastered couture in Paris. The origins of his love for artistic expression came together through the rich cultural lifestyle he had growing up in Lebanon and Syria. Ari and his signature line, Pogah (Hagop written backward) are set to launch a new chapter in the city of Los Angeles and AFFMA is proud to be presenting his premiere collection. Designer vintage originals by Marc Joseph will also be presented in an exclusive style event titled, Fantasy of Fashion. Other fashion and jewelry designers such as YevArts, Vahe Twisted, Regali Preciosso Crystals, Accessor Eyes, Bonjour Perfumes, costume Jewelry by Maro, Off the Chain Jewels, and Belinva Creations will be on display. The fashion show will be held at the Sheraton Universal’s Crystal Ballroom and will be emceed by talk radio host Laura Brodian of K-Mozart (105.1 FM). Proceeds from this event will benefit the Arpa International Film Festival, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary November 2-4, 2007 at the Egyptian Theater. A star-studded gala awards banquet will be held on Sunday, November 4, also to be held at the Sheraton Universal.
