BEVERLY HILLS–Mark your calendars! Save the Date! On April 26, at the world-renowned Beverly Hills Hotel, the AMAA Orphan Care Committee will be having its annual fashion show, luncheon and silent auction. All proceeds will go toward assisting orphaned and needy children and their families by providing food, clothing, vitamins, and other necessary supplies. The proceeds also support 20 kindergartens in Armenia and Karabagh and provide summer and day camp experiences for 6,000 needy children and teenagers, and Christmas gift packages for 2,500 children.
This year’s co-chairs are Gina Felikian, Grace Kurkjian and Nora Tavlian, who have jointly organized a fabulous luncheon and an amazing fashion show, featuring children’s fashions in an absolutely delightful setting! “We promise you an afternoon you will not forget,” said Nora, adding that this year “we have such beautiful items for the silent auction that we anticipate a lot of fun shopping among our guests!” “We have jewelry, trips, sports’ tickets, spa weekends, and so many more exciting items that we think our guests will be making a run to the bidding sheets until the very last minute!” added the silent auction chair, Argine Jean Kelegian.
The fashion show will be coordinated by James Campbell Productions and it will feature fresh and new outfits from several designers. The young models have already been selected and are in the process of being fitted. “They are very excited and practicing hard to delight everyone at the luncheon,” said Gina Felikian, adding that “all of them just look absolutely adorable in their outfits!”
This year’s luncheon theme is “Children helping Children With Love”, and it will truly be that! The children in this year’s fashion show lovingly invite everyone to this extraordinary fundraising event to help children in Armenia! “Our heart and soul goes out to the needy children and the handicapped children who pray for medical care. What we do here is so very important, so very essential for the care of these children in Armenia, that we need everyone’s support,” stated Grace Kurkjian, adding that “we encourage everyone to attend and to support the AMAA, so that we can provide for these children and ease their difficult lives a little bit with basic comforts;”
This is one luncheon, one very special fashion show, and one absolutely incredible once-a-year event you will not want to miss!! For further information and tickets, please contact Savey Tufenkian at (818) 956-8455 or Elizabeth Agbabian at (310) 476-5306.
