GLENDALE–The Armenian Cultural Foundation on Friday issued an appeal to the Armenian American community to rally in support of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation as it marks its 120th anniversary this December. The appeal, made through a written statement by ACF Chairman Avedik Izmirlian, requests the community join the ACF on Sunday, December 5 for a special celebration of the ARF’s 120th anniversary at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We present the appeal below.
Dearest Compatriots,
120 years of continuous service for the preservation and enrichment of Armenian culture and national heritage is an achievement to celebrate!
Throughout the years, the strength, endurance and allegiance of the Armenian Cultural Foundation has attracted millions of volunteers and supporters around the world—forming an important mountain of humanity and solidarity towards one simple, pure and powerful purpose.
The Armenian Cultural Foundation stands proud as the Armenian Revolutionary Federation celebrates its 120th anniversary.
This celebration belongs to you and I! It belongs to any individual who has advanced the principles of democracy, economic justice and social equality. Year after year, we take ownership of our movement. We advance with what little we have, producing the best results with the bare minimums. We mask the hardships and highlight the end results.
YOU make this possible!
YOU are the backbone of this organization.
This celebration belongs to YOU!
Throughout the years, you have imparted your support and generosity to the Armenian Cultural Foundation. Again, we humbly request your support. Please join us on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel as we celebrate120 years of service, commitment and growth. The evening will be a memorable one— with Parliament leaders from around the world.
To become a valued sponsor and take part in the celebration, please call (818) 243-1890 or visit acfwest.org.
