PASADENA–Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region Board Member Steven Dadaian met with freshman Congressman James E. Rogan (Calif.-27) Tuesday to discuss issues of concern to the Armenian-American community. Also participating in the meeting was Greg Krikorian the Congressman’s district coordinator.

During the course of the hour-long meeting–Dadaian updated Congressman Rogan on a number of issues impacting Armenian-Americans. Congressman Rogan pledged to continue his strong advocacy of Armenian Issues including recognition of the Armenian Genocide and a just settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which would guarantee its right of self -determination and safety.

"Congressman Rogan is certainly no stranger to the American-Armenian community. As a member of the California State Assembly he was an effective advocate of Armenian issues on the state level. We are confident that he will emerge as a powerful voice on Armenian issues in Washington as well," stated Steven Dadaian.
