STOCKHOLM–Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau representative Mario Nalbandian and ARF Scandinavian regional representative Margis Panosian met Wednesday with Roger Hallhag–Eastern Europe representative of the Swedish Social Democratic Party.
The meeting which took place at the national headquarters of the Social Democratic Party–lasted an hour–and the sides discussed–among other issues–the current socio-political and economic situation in the Caucasus region–specifically matters of concern to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
The leaders also exchanged ideas and concerns on the current Karabakh peace-process within the framework of the OSCE-Minsk Group–of which Sweden is a member country–and an active participant in the Karabakh negotiations.
The representatives also examined issues of bilateral relations and future cooperation between the two parties.
On the same day–the ARF delegation met with member of parliament Tone Tingsgard in the Swedish Parliament Building–where issues regarding Armenia and Karabakh were addressed.
Tingsgard–who has visited Armenia–is extremely familiar with the political and economic situation in the republic.
