BAABDA (Aztag)–An ARF delegation representing the Central Committee of Lebanon met with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud on Tuesday. Central Committee representative Hovig Mkhitarian and the Youth and Sports Minister of Lebanon Sebouh Hovnanian briefed Lahoud on their meeting in Aleppo last Tuesday with Syrian President Bashar al Assad.

They also emphasized the Armenian community’s lack of representation in Lebanon–and stressed the importance of immediately reinstating these rights.

The delegation thanked Lahoud for his patronage of the opening of the Homenetmen Social–Cultural and Sports Complex in Mezher.
