YEREVAN(ARF Press)–The Armenian Revolutionary Federation’s Youth and Student Organization Central Executive representatives gathered in Tsakhkadzor–Armenia from Jan. 11 to 14 for a conference.
ARF Youth Organizations from 15 different countries and Student organizations from 4 regions participated in the summit.
The conference addressed various issues concerning ARF Youth including organizational–political–and international issues.
The current apathetic state of the Armenian youth and the reasons behind this trend were discussed–with specific emphasis on revitalizing the youth movement and bringing forth a more politically active youth.
During the conference–problems and challenges facing all youth were also discussed. In order to become familiar with the problems facing Armenian youth as well as to contribute to a resolution to those problems– Armenia must further develop its relations with foreign countries. The role and obligations of the youth in strengthening the Armenian state were stated as well.
Regarding the Armenian Genocide and the Armenian Cause–the participants decided that the youth must broaden its efforts to encompass international youth organizations worldwide.
The delegates participated in a social activity on January 13–organized by ARF Youth Organization of Armenia.
