GLENDALE–The best Armenian musical acts–renowned entertainers–community leaders–and popular personalities top the growing list of those scheduled to appear on the Armenia Fund Telethon on Thanksgiving Day. The 12-hour broadcast will raise funds to support infrastructure and humanitarian projects in Armenia and Artsakh. The Telethon will air on Thursday–Nov. 27 in:
Southern California–on KSCI 18–8am to 8 pm
Bay area–on KTSF 26 (cable 8)–8:30 am to 3 pm
Central California on KNXT 49 (cable 9)–12 noon to 8 pm
Las Vegas on Channel 48–Cox Communication–12 noon to 8 pm.
The Telethon will also be broadcasted in Europe–the Middle East–Australia and US via satellite by Armenia’s public television network H1. The first few hours of the Telethon will be shown on Armenia’s public television channel on November 27 from 8:00 PM (Yerevan time).
Those living outside the reach of the broadcast television station signals and who may not have access to Armenia public television’s satellite signal can watch the telethon on their computers via the Internet. The web cast will be streaming in its entirely "live" at www.armeniafund.org.
