YEREVAN (Combined Sources)–Armenia’s Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian said in an interview with the Russian-language Nezavisimaya Gazeta that Armenia will expand cooperation with Russia and widen its partnership with the US.
“Armenia will deepen the friendly partnership with the US and will apply greater efforts to get more involved in European integration programs. From now on we are ready to reinforce the relations with those countries with which we have friendly cooperative relations, and we shall spare no effort to normalize our relations with the countries with which we have unsettled issues,” said Nalbandian.
“We will conduct an active, intensive foreign policy based on our national interests and pragmatism, which means greater involvement of international and regional organizations in the country, reinforcement of relations on both bilateral and multilateral levels," added Nalbandian.
“Strategic cooperation with Russia is very important for Armenia, and we intend to expand and reinforce it through new mutually beneficial projects,” said Nalbandian
