NEW YORK (Arka)—The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Edward Nalbandian and Elmar Mamediarov, met with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Tuesday to undertake preparations for an upcoming meeting of the two countries’ presidents, the press office of the Armenian president reports.
The presidential meeting will be held in Paris initiated by French President François Hollande.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, participating in the 69th UN General Assembly session, met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Pierre Andrio (France) and James Warlick (USA), and personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andjey Kasprship on Tuesday on the sidelines of the UN meeting. Later, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamediarov joined the meeting.
The ministers and the mediators discussed the Karabakh peace process. The Co-Chairs once again re-affirmed their commitment toward exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict.
The Co-Chairs said they plan to visit the region in October.
What is the point for this meeting especially with Karabakh participation?
Do Azeries finally signing peace accord and returning all occupied territories that are still remaining under their control?
Do they apologizing for all atrocities they committed and scheduling to pay for all done damage?
what is azerbaijan is it a sandwich?
Don’t hold your breath, Nothing will come out from the meeting
Artsakh is free and independent. No lands of ours will be given to the Genocidal Azerbaijan and Genocidal Turkey.
There is no need to talk further. There is nothing else to talk. All co-chairs go back to your homes and join the un-employment line.
The hell with all co-chairs of Minsk group. Armenia or Artsakh is not a land for you goof-ups. If these so called goofy co-chairs have families of their own, they should go back and join them and stay home and be proud of themselves that they brought peace on this part of the word! Enough of these lip servce to the Genocidal Turks and Azeris.
Our foreign minister must have better things in his life to be busy with. Shaking hands and giving smiles in front of the cameras must be stopped and stopped for good. So, Mr. Nalbandian, with your wife (an odar) , please kick the bucket , come to your senses and do some real work.
Armenians themselves will repel the Genocidal Turk. No need of others.
There isn’t much to discuss there: Artsakh wanted to exercise its right for self-determination and conducted a fully legitimate referendum. It was made to put together an army and fight a war imposed by the enemy. It won that war. I don’t know why they want to meet.
