BAKU (APA)—Members of Parliament from Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet in Moscow on Thursday alongside their counterparts from Russia for talks on regional issues and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a member of the Azeri delegation to Moscow was quoted as saying Tuesday by the Azeri Press Agency.
The meeting will take place in the Russian parliament and will include five members from each respective parliament, explained Rovshan Rzayev, the deputy chairman of Azerbaijan’s parliamentary committee for legal policy and statehood.
The meeting will have on its agenda a discussion of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, according to Rzayev “We will try to reach an understanding during the discussions.”
Azerbaijan’s delegation will also include the chairman of Azerbaijan’s parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Rabiyyat Aslanova, the chairman of the Committee for Legal Policy and Statehood Ali Huseynov, and MPs Sabir Hajiyev and Gular Ahmadova.
No documents are set to be signed during these talks, according to the Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan’s parliament, Ziyafat Asgarov. “This is the continuation of the previous meetings. No document will be signed there,” he told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday.
