YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– The government of Armenia plans to conduct rehabilitation and construction work at schools in the Aragatsotn–Shirak–Ararat–Armavir–Lori–Tavoush–Vayots Dzor–Gegharkounik–Kotayk and Siunik regions.
Under the 1999 budget–616 million drams will be granted for rebuilding schools in Shirak–Tavoush–Lori and Aragatsotn. Reconstruction at schools in other regions will be funded by the private sector.
According to government sources–this year construction works worth 100 million drams will be implemented at schools in Yerevan.
