SINJAR (Public Radio of Armenia) — The Armenian St. Mary Church in Sinjar, Iraq has been completely destroyed, Arevelk.am reports, quoting its sources in Erbil.
According to the reports, tens of skeletons, thought to be those of Yazidi residents of the region, were recently found in the vicinities of the church.
The Armenian population had left the region before it was invaded by the Islamic State. The city of Sinjar in the north of Iraq is considered the main center of the Yazidi community.

We’re helpless and hopeless. Not even the great powers can salvage our cause. Their conflicting interests has not allowed, nor would it allow, the required coordination and effort to save the region.

If it was deliberate destruction, then why is the cross left to stand? Perhaps this was leveled by bombs being dropped from over head??

Americans (Ex English criminals) gathered in one place and on July 4, 1776 formed a country. Since then – where ever they have gone, they have attempted to destroyed local culture and religion.

These animals can destroy our churches but cannot destroy our passion. We will build again.
    .
Americans are responsible for this destruction.
