YEREVAN (Armenpress)–At the initiative of the Foreign Ministry of Spain–and with Spain’s Trade and Industry Chamber and Armenia’s Ambassador to Spain Edward Khojoyan’s mediation–the International Center for Human Development organized Armenian-Spanish business forums. The first forum will be held in Valencia from June 14-17–and the second–in Madrid from June 17-20.
The Spanish side will be represented by a number of potential investors that seek new markets for their products and services.
A group of Spanish businessmen visited Armenia earlier in the year to explore possibilities for investmen’s and assess the general investment environment. A business forum was then organized for Spanish businessmen by the International Center for Human Development–in order to give them an opportunity to get to know the economic potential of Armenia–the relevant legislation and successfully operating companies.
Armen Darbinian–former prime minister and chairman of the board of trustees of the International Center for Human Development–says Armenian businessmen will get an excellent opportunity to present their business programs to Spanish businessmen.
