ARS Set to Host Leadership Seminar

ARS Western US Leadership Seminar

SIMI VALLEY — The Armenian Relief Society Regional Executive together with its Regional Educational Committee has planned a one day seminar, Leadership Built to Last, on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Dr., Simi Valley, CA 93065.
Attorney Caspar Jivalagian will moderate the two seminar panels, 1) Leadership and 2) Built to Last.
Panel 1: Leadership
• Nora Hovsepian, Esq. ANCA Western Region Chairperson
Community Leadership
• Wendy Greuel, LA City Controller 2009-2013
Women in Politics
• Vaché Thomassian, Esq. MIA, ARF Western Region Central Committee Member
Youth Leadership
Panel 2: Built to Last
• Daron Der-Khachadourian, MBA, Corporate Executive & Consultant
Succession Planning
• The Honorable Houry Sanderson- Judge, Superior Court Fresno County
Conflict Resolution
• Elen Asatryan, ANCA Western Region Executive Director
PR and Communication
ARS Regional Executive Board Chairperson Rebecca Berberian stated, “The success of this seminar is very significant for us. Panelists will present on a diverse array of topics relating to leadership, which will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills to best serve their communities. The ARS also aims to create educational opportunities, such as this seminar for the youth so that they may learn how to become the leaders of the future. We encourage all supporters to sponsor this important initiative.”
Tickets are $25 which includes lunch and a tour of the presidential library.
This seminar, which aims to instill leadership values and skills among our community members, is made possible thanks to our sponsors and supporters.
