Artsakh state authorities held a consultative meeting in Stepanakert to discuss the upcoming centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

STEPANAKERT—On Thursday, Artsakh’s President Bako Sahakian called to order a special consultation dedicated to preparations for the remembrance of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide this year.

The President underlined that international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide was among the most important issues of political, legal and moral significance to the Armenian nation.

Sahakian gave instructions to representatives of various state organizations on the implementation of activities commemorating the Genocide’s centennial.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosian, Chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister Ara Haroutyunyan, and other officials partook in the consultation.
