The Azerbaijani army fired shots on Tuesday night at Armenian positions from Nakhichevan by violating the ceasefire regime, Armenian defense ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenpress.
“One of the bullets fell on the roof of a house in Yelpin village. In response, the Armenian side opened fire toward the enemy,” Hovhannisyan said.
For more than a year, Armenia’s defense ministry has reported movement by the Azerbaijani armed forces along the Armenia-Nakhichevan border, explaining that Azerbaijani forces were reinforce their outposts near the border.
The last time the defense ministry reported ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan around Nakhichevan was in September.
Azerbaijan is doing this with direct support from Turkey. Armenians need to be vigilant. Start a clandestine nuclear program. Also create diaspora army units. Expand the pool of ready and able army to defend these invading mongol Turks that are still occupying and enjoying the fruits of mass rape, theft and genocide of the Armenian Nation. NEVER FORGET. THEY OWE US!!
Joe, I fully agree with you.
How can Armenia negotiate with a country that keeps firing on Armenians, better die fighting than live under the rule of these S holes.
According to Tatul Hagopyan’s precious report, Armenian villages at the Nakhichevan-Armenia border were not armed at all to defend themselves from adjacent Azeri villages. These Azeri villages were armed to the teeth, their children attend regular military drills to attack Armenians. What is the Armenian government doing to protect and arm these Armenian villages against these genocidal beasts?
