BAKU (APA)—Azerbaijan announced on Wednesday that the first series of weaponry produced through its new domestic arms production program have rolled off the factory  and are ready for testing, the Azeri Press Agency reported.

The arms are being produced as part of a joint venture with the South African Paramount Group Company, since beginning production this year, factories in Azerbaijan have produced automatic weapons, pistols, sniper rifles, land-mines, and various types of armor plating, according to Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry Minister, Yaver Jamalov.

Jimalov was quoted by the APA as saying that Azerbaijan was able to surpass its production forecast by 6 percent and has fulfilled all orders for weapons put in by various government agencies.

According to the him, Azerbaijan is planning to demonstrate its home-grown weapons at three international defense exhibitions next year – Jordan, May 2010, South Africa, September 2010 and Greece, November 2010.

Jamalov said he believed Azerbaijan’s newfound ability to produce weaponry “irritates Armenia and makes it anxious.”

oh, yes… Armenians are so worried.  very funny.   We will kick their ass again, if Azeri’s want to start another war.   We should have liberated all of Artsakh.
