STEPANAKERT—The Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that Lieutenant Colonel Garik Balayan was killed by enemy fire at one of the military posts located in the southern region of the border between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
An investigation into the details of the case is under way.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense said it “shares the sorrow of this heavy loss and expresses its support to Garik Balayan’s family and friends.”
Another Armenian soldier, Ashot Grigoryan, born in 1994, was wounded in his right hand as a result of fire from the Azerbaijani side.
The Turk is always and remains a Turk at all times. For every Armenian soldier which is martyred by these animals more land must be liberated.
It seems like they do as they please!
We don’t need to go to war and Azerbaijan does not need to spend billions to buy weapons from their Russian brothers. Our soldiers are just sitting ducks waiting to be killed one by one and with time our army will be exterminated…
