YEREVAN (News.am)—The Azerbaijani army has reportedly amassed military equipment at the Nakhichevan-Armenia border.
Koryun Nahapetyan, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defense and Internal Affairs, announced this information to reporters in parliament, adding that the situation is under control.
“Both the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces [of Armenia] are in full control of the situation,” said Nahapetyan. “Our troops, relevant divisions of the Armed Forces are fully prepared to resist any attack.”
As for Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s recent meeting at Parliament with the parliament  members, Nahapetyan said numerous issues were discussed, but given the proprietary nature of the meeting, he could not provide any details.
In June 2015, Azerbaijani forces launched attacks against Armenian border units stationed at the Nakhichevan border, killing one soldier.

Armenia should initiate a preemptive strike
thus preventing the enemy from amassing troops and military hardware
and surprising us once more this time with an attack on two fronts.
No one cares who attacked first anyway.

If they attack, it could be a chance to take back Nakhichevan, at least portion of it. Amen!

Diverting attention? Putting more pressure (Azerbaijan/Turkey/Georgia/US/Israel versus Nakhichevan/Karabakh/Armenia/Russia)? Doesn’t Russia represent a threat to possible escalation in defense of Nakhichevan?

We can not sacrifice any more of our brave soldiers.

I agree,”The best defense is a good offense” it is better to die attacking than to die defending

Armenia should not wait for another attack, rather should liberate another stolen territory by the Turks , i.e. Nakhichevan next.
It is very obvious that Turkey is involved in supplying Azeris with weapons in Nakhichevan.
Where is Armenia’s so called strategic ally Russia or friendly and democrratic (and money chasing) Western nations while the Turks are preparing for war?

The West is bankrupt in values, if the Europeans themselves don’t trust each other, what can we expect from them.
