Berberian Adds Two Final Shows

Comedian Vahe Berberian

LOS ANGELES—“No, no, I swear these are the final two shows,” said Yeté’s producer, confirming that two performances have been added – Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 30 at Beyond the Stars Palace in Glendale.

Berberian is a master of finding the comedy in personal, social, and cultural topics – in this case, he finds the humor in anxiety. From movies to death, marriage, being Armenian, social media and the changing times, Berberian touches on a myriad of topics, cleverly weaving them through the loosely connected thread of anxiety.

“This is my most personal show,” says Berberian, “The topic, anxiety, is not a very appealing subject. The number of people who related to it flabbergasted me. Their roaring laughter was genuine and uninhibited. The audience’s energy was inspirational in giving a special flavor to each show.”

Yeté has been an unprecedented success with audiences flocking to sold-out shows throughout the summer. “In fact, most shows were sold out a month before the performance dates. The demand to extend the show was so overwhelming that we added shows a couple of times. These upcoming performances are our final two before Vahe heads out for his world tour,” said the show’s producer. “Don’t miss Yeté, it might just be your favorite laugh of the year.”

As in previous shows, the audience can sit comfortably around communal tables while mingling and enjoying a cocktail or appetizers from the bar. Considering that its first-come, first -served seating, guests should arrive before doors open at 7:30 p.m.
